Overview
This course covers the management of midwifery conditions during labour, and postpartum. The course aims at enabling a learner to assess, recognize, and manage both normal and high-risk midwifery conditions.  The course also focuses a learner on the management of women and their newborns before, during, and after surgical obstetric procedures/operations like cesarean sections (C/S). The learner should be able to assess, diagnose, make management plans, and provide care (using Nursing Process) for normal and high-risk midwifery conditions for mothers and their babies.
